Notes on usage

Changing filament

Due to an issue with the tolerances of the hotend on this machine, sometimes when changing filament, you will find that you can't pull it out past the brass pneumatic fitting on the extruder motor. To fix this, remove the pneumatic fitting (you should be able to do this without any tools -- it's finger-tight). Then you have to remove the bowden tube from that fitting by compressing the collar of the fitting, and while holding the collar in, pushing in the bowden tube slightly, then pulling it away from the fitting. The tube should come away from the fitting, exposing the filament, at which point you can use diagonal cutters or scissors to snip off the expanded tip of the filament and pull it through the pneumatic fitting.
