Meet & Greet - 15-30 minutes

  • Pictures on Lockers - Larry & Josh
  • Get to know each other games - Martin
    • yarn game - 2 groups (hold yarn and pass the yarn ball to someone else)
  • Eat - Pizza

Board Update - 15 minutes (Max of 5 minutes each topic)

Governance - Nate (2 min)

  • 501(c)3 status - Delivered, no contact yet...
  • Facilities - we’re in good shape (here’s what needs work) (Josh)
  • Elections - Nominations Now Open (what’s changed)
    • Partial Board (2 openings) - replace Tyler & ???
    • 1 year terms w/ Board Pledging

Financial - Treasurer (temporarily Josh) (47 seconds)

  • Member dues primarily go toward day-to-day operations
  • We are facing some Operations Issues in April

Fundraising - Larry (2 min)

  • 100% of the Board has contributed money - average pledge $xxx
  • What to expect in the next year
    • Focus fund-raising on sustaining the organization
      • any revenue will be in addition to member dues
    • consistent with AHA's mission
    • not interfere with individual member activities
    • get $$$ for our efforts (ie. make more than it costs to do)
    • spend those $$$ where members want to (ie. aligned with long-term goals NOT daily ops)
    • do the best we can to keep people from getting burned out raising money
    • do the best we can so no-one is ignored or pissed off in the process of raising money
