Template:Guideline All members at AHA strive to "Be awesome to each other." This page gives examples of how to be awesome in different scenarios.
In General
- It is awesome to strive to be more awesome.
- It is awesome to introduce yourself when someone enters the space and you don't know them.
- It is awesome to make people feel comfortable and welcome in the space.
- It is awesome to tell someone how to be more awesome. It is not awesome to criticize someone for not being awesome.
- It is awesome to communicate needs instead of criticisms. Example "I need some table space to work on my project, would you be able to clear any of this table for me to use?" instead of "Look at this mess! You are a horrible human being! This is not awesome at all!"
- It is awesome to broadcast positivity, and channel negativity. Example: Sending thank yous to the mailing list, and resolving disputes with private emails.
