What should I know / have done by the end of today?

By the end of today, you should feel comfortable:

  1. Knowing what our upcoming events are
  2. Accessing the AHA members and AHA Staff mailing lists
  3. Using one of the power / prototyping tools at AHA
  4. Being Awesome

By the end of today, you should have:

  1. Reread: http://wiki.allhandsactive.com/First_Day_on_the_Grind]
  2. Learned how to use one of the following tools
    1. LASER Cutter - Okay to learn with additional staff
    2. 3D Printer - Okay to learn with additional staff
    3. CNC Router - Must be taught by Tyler W. or Nate Y.
    4. Soldering Iron - Can be done on your own, have fun and don't burn down AHA :)
    5. Arduino Microcontroller - Can be done on your own, have fun!
    6. Sewing Machine - Can be done on your own, good luck!
  3. Make something beautiful, here are some ideas. These are just suggestions, feel free to make something else beautiful:
