Second Day on the Grind

What should I know / have done by the end of today?

By the end of today, you should feel comfortable:

1. Explaining what our upcoming events are
2. Accessing the AHA Members and AHA Staff mailing lists
3. Using one of the power / prototyping tools at AHA (see below)
4. Explaining to someone how to become a member of AHA
5. Being Awesome

By the end of today, you should have:

2. Have read over this page
3. Learned how to use one of the following tools
   1. LASER Cutter - Okay to learn with additional staff
   2. 3D Printer - Okay to learn with additional staff
   3. CNC Router - Must be taught by Tyler W. or Nate Y.
   4. Soldering Iron - Can be done on your own, have fun and don't burn down AHA :)
   5. Arduino Microcontroller - Can be done on your own, have fun and consider updating the Fairy Door Arduino!
   6. Sewing Machine - Can be done on your own, good luck!
4. Made something beautiful, here are some ideas. These are just suggestions, feel free to make something else beautiful:
   1. Lending Library / Display area (always needs straightening/updating)
   2. Fairy Door (could use some love)
   3. Front Entrance (is always in need of a good vacuuming, and people are always rubbing their grubby fingers on the glass)
   4. Bathrooms (can never be clean enough)
   5. Computer Area (cables are always in need of untangling)
   6. Shop Floor (loves the broom, make it purr)
   7. Make the internet a more beautiful place by making a 3D Scan of yourself and sharing it online.a more beautiful place.
