PCs

Custom PC/"AHOPS" build (ca. 2013)

This is the public PC, located in the main room.

  • Motherboard: MSI MS-7721
  • RAM: G.Skill 8GiB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866
  • Processor: AMD APU A10-5800K with Radeon HD graphics
  • HDD: 500 GB 7200RPM WD Blue
  • Here's are the Newegg links originally used to order the parts:
    • Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=11-147-123&Tpk=N82E16811147123 PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17-151-077&Tpk=N82E16817151077 HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=22-136-769&Tpk=N82E16822136769 Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-130-662&Tpk=N82E16813130662 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-231-550&Tpk=N82E16820231550 APU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=19-113-280&Tpk=N82E16819113280

Dell Inspiron 3646

This is the 3D printing computer.

  • RAM: 4GiB
  • Processor: Intel Celeron J1800 @ 2.41GHz
  • HDD: 500 GB

Dell Optiplex 980

This is the laser cutter computer.

  • RAM: 8GB
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20GHz
  • HDD: 500GB

Servers and VMs

Dell R510

Running proxmox and hosting "production" VMs

  • 24 CPU cores
  • 256GB RAM
  • a couple 1 or 2TB spinners
  • we should put the disks from the dell R710 in the R510
  • 192.168.1.11
  • idrac 192.168.1.10

Ubuntu Docker host VM

This is a vm running ubuntu LTS, targeted at running whatever miscellaneous "production" stuff the space may need. docker containers in particular, but not limited to that

  • ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • 16GB ram
  • 4 CPU cores
  • 192.168.1.12

Sun Xfire 4x00

This is a quite old server, not very power efficient. it is intended to be a playground for playing around with whatever, but not for any long term use. it is typically powered off, but can be powered on remotely via ipmi.

  • IPMI management address 192.168.1.14
  • maybe 8 cores?
  • maybe 64GB ram?
  • a few 136GB spinners
