Board Responsibilities

Please help fill out this list with any other things that the board needs to take care of on a (yearly/monthly/etc.) basis! Also feel free to move to a different section/new article if you think that makes more sense.

Current Shift Volunteers

Awesome people that rock the front desk

  • Dan Elliott
    • maintains the Electronics Workbench. He knows a lot about headphones as well!
  • Taylor Gest
    • updates AHA & Ops web sites. He takes fancy pictures with a fancy camera, and is generally pretty passive sounding when playing Brawl.
  • Eric Hampton
    • makes physical improvements to the space. We call him Bearic, as at one point there were far too many people named Eric. Now there is only Bearic.
  • Jon Huhn
    • acquires new equipment, sponsors, etc. He likes to play Super Monday Night Combat.
  • Dana Nelson
    • makes sure membership data is up to date. She's often developing some awesome new event to get people involved in, and rocks out in LoL.
  • Craig Ransom
    • makes sure software installs occur. Has lots of good ideas, doesn't seem to get angry, keep him away from the ladies.
  • Josh Williams
    • promotes events, creates events, manages AHA/Ops. Often confused, needs to write things down more often, and get more sleep.

    • Who: Drew Baxter
    • What: Fridge, Snacks, general needs, ie: Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Soap, Coffee, Spoons, Trash bags, etc.

  • Cleaning
    • Who: Jon Huhn
    • What: General Facility, Desk, Back Room, Bathrooms, ie: Mopping, Shopvac, Empties, Trash, etc.
    • When: Weekly
    • This does not negate the need for people to clean up after themselves
    • This does not negate the need for general staff to do a basic clean up before, during, and after shift.
  • Computers
    • Who: Currently unassigned
    • What: General installation of software, updates, configuration, cable management, etc.
    • When: Weekly
    • Electronics Workbench
