What should I know / have done by the end of today?

By the end of today, you should feel comfortable:

  1. Finding a First Aid Kit
  2. Verifying someone's membership in case you need to leave
  3. Where at least one tool in each section is (Electronics, Craft, Power Tools, Prototyping, Computers, Hand Tools)
  4. Where to find information about AHA
  5. Accessing the AHA members and AHA Staff mailing lists
  6. Being awesome

By the end of today, you should have:

  1. Reread: http://wiki.allhandsactive.com/First_Day_on_the_Grind]
  2. Learned how to use one of the following tools
    1. LASER Cutter - Okay to learn with additional staff
    2. 3D Printer - Okay to learn with additional staff
    3. CNC Router - Must be taught by Tyler W. or Nate Y.
    4. Soldering Iron - Can be done on your own, have fun and don't burn down AHA :)
    5. Arduino Microcontroller - Can be done on your own, have fun!
    6. Sewing Machine - Can be done on your own, good luck!
  3. Find the Yellow Fluke Multimeter, find a battery and measure its voltage.
